Now current events will change from time to time, and we can send you the email each week along with what to add and what to take out.

Death to Distractions
In a world constantly vying for our attention, distractions have become one of the greatest threats to our spiritual lives. From endless scrolling and packed schedules to the pursuit of status and success—these distractions may not seem deadly, but they slowly disconnect us from our purpose, our people, and our God.
“Death to Distractions” is a powerful new sermon series that calls us to recognize and confront the things pulling us away from God’s voice. Together, we’ll learn to put to death what divides our attention, so we can fully pursue a life of peace, presence, and purpose in Christ.
It’s time to cut through the noise and reclaim what matters most.

Celebrating Deacon Michelle!
Congratulations to Michelle Mote on her unanimous call to the rostered position of Deacon of Children, Youth and Family Ministry at Messiah last Sunday! Help us celebrate Michelle’s ordination to the Ministry of Word and Service and installation as Deacon at Messiah Lutheran Church during a special afternoon service to be held at Messiah Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. The service will also be livestreamed on www.messiahlc.org/live. A reception will be held on the church grounds following the service.
Do you want to help make this day a special one for Michelle? Watch for an e-mail early next week that will provide details around RSVPing, volunteering, and donating toward reception expenses.

Life Groups
As we continue our year of renewal at Messiah, we are taking a look at our Life Groups and Small Groups ministry. Please take a few moments to answer some questions about your participation, or non-participation, in our life groups and small groups. This survey, and your feedback, will help us to shape the renewal of our small group ministry at Messiah. Thank you for your time.
Small groups will begin the week of April 27th through week of June 1st.
